Genesis to Go Fully Electric by 2025
Genesis has set a goal of making all their vehicles emission-free by 2030, and to achieve this, they have committed to focusing their efforts on the electric vehicle market from 2025. This includes fully electric and hydrogen fuel-cell-powered vehicles, with the cessation of production for gas-powered cars.
Genesis recently announced that from 2025 they intend to go all-in on the electric vehicle market. This will include both fully electric vehicles as well as hydrogen fuel-cell-powered vehicles. Their goal is for their cars to be completely emission-free by 2030, and they've decided the best way to get there is to stop producing gas-powered vehicles.
 What New Features Can Be Expected from Genesis' Upcoming Electric Vehicle Line-Up?
Genesis has four current electric vehicles and plans to improve their fuel-cell technology and lithium-ion battery tech. As such, they unveiled their intentions to create eight new models, including their X coupe as the new flagship. The line-up will include two large sedans, four crossovers, and another two-door coupe, all boasting luxurious interior and exterior designs and equipped with premier fixtures and tech.
The 2023 Genesis Electric Range
While 2025 will see the introduction of up to six all-electric luxury Genesis vehicles, they currently have four electric cars already available. Here are the main specifications of each.
Genesis GV60
 The GV60 2023 from Genesis is more lightweight than other models yet retains its fashionable style with contemporary lines and large alloy wheels. With a battery range of 235 to 248 miles per charge, the cabin offers luxury with extra-large touchscreens and superior upholstery. It comes in two different versions: the Advanced trim, featuring a 314-HP electric engine, and the Performance trim, which generates a whopping 429-HP.
 Genesis G80
The 2023 Genesis G80 electric crossover G80 (the Electrified G80) is a large all-electric sedan similar in size and style to the 2021 Genesis G80 and the 2022 Genesis G80. Boasting an impressive range of up to 282 miles per charge, it features an 87.2-kWh battery pack and an electric motor that can put out up to 365 HP.Â
 This vehicle boasts a roomy interior with a 14.5-inch display and the newest tech options. Additionally, it offers all the luxurious aspects of the current Genesis automobile range.
Genesis G90 3.5T e-SC
The 2023 Genesis G90 3.5t e-SC is the electric-assisted version of the luxurious G90. It is an upgraded version of the 2021 Genesis G90 and 2022 Genesis G90. The standard 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is supercharged with the addition of a 48-volt hybrid engine, increasing horsepower output to 409.Â
